Commissioned by ThaiThai for the MotoGP Thailand in Buriram, this pavilion was designed with portability, speed of assembly, and local material sourcing at its core. The structure embraces modularity and sustainable construction methods to align with the event’s fast-paced and environmentally conscious context.

The pavilion celebrates the multiplicity and heterogeneity of Northeastern Thailand through three distinct spatial zones. Each space curates the region’s unique arts and crafts using expressive combinations of colour, locally sourced materials, traditional techniques, and responsive lighting. These boxed environments offer a choreographed exhibition experience—intimate yet vibrant—enclosed within honest fabric walls that reinforce the project's sustainable ethos.
Regenerative materials such as repurposed scaffolding, honeycomb cardboard, and stained plywood define the construction palette. This approach not only minimizes the pavilion’s environmental footprint but also ensures adaptability for future touring. Designed for complete disassembly and reassembly, each component promotes circularity—reducing waste while maximizing reuse and regional relevance.
